A student of the acclaimed New York Institute of Photography, Danny H. Assabgy established the very first alex&marc Studio in Sydney; a studio that he named after his first two children.

Disappointed with the traditional style of portraiture available to Australian families, Danny was determined to bring the local industry in line with international trends and introduced a more modern and contemporary style of photography.

Together, with a team of like-minded photographers and designers, led by highly awarded alex&marc Creative Director Trudi Van de Wint, the alex&marc photography style was born.

In addition to winning over 100 international professional photography awards, Trudi is an AIPP Master Photographer who has been coveted with the highly acclaimed Photographer of the Year award.

Inspired by their photographic work in the fashion capitals of New York, Tokyo, Sydney, Paris and London, the alex&marc photographic style is playful, vibrant, young and full of expression.

It incorporates vivid colours, high contrasts and unique compositions to produce a fresh and contemporary approach to a traditional art.
